My PS3 stopped reading both movie and game discs. Did some research and found out the laser was bad. Replacement laser came fast and works like promised. Their are some really good YouTube videos showing how to change this part. If you have a really small Phillips screwdriver, needle nose pliers and a decent amount of patience, you can fix your PS3. Mine is working great since I bought the new laser. Would buy again.
My playstation bluray lens died and of course i wasn't very happy. Sony will charge a LOT of money to repair your system so i decided to buy this kit and do the job myself. It wasn't easy but it was worth it. My ps3 is like new again. Very happy.
